Tae Ho

When I look at this picture, there is nothing we should complain about our life – right?  well, if you ever see someone complaining about hardship and their life, please show them this youtube video of Tae Ho.  Abandoned at birth, he survived and not only living happily and making the best out of his life but also inspiring everyone around him.  What an awesome lil’ boy!

Jay Y. Lee

The only son of Samsung’s magnate Lee Kun Hee, I became particularly interested in the Lee’s because I loved my Samsung very much.  Jay Lee was groomed to take over the conglomerate when his father retired a few years ago and his current networth is said to be  $4.2 billion.  42 years old Jay is divorced with 2 children and since becoming the Vice Chairman of Samsung in last December, he single-handedly brought the companies shares up because of Galaxy III which beat the iPhone 4S in sales around the world.

Ban Ki Moon

Named as Forbe’s 41 most powerful people for 2010 is the first South Korean U.N. Secretary General, who has the unenviable job of finessing relations between the organization’s 192 member states. Also: restore world peace, end hunger, genocide and protect 41.2 million refugees and displaced people around globe. The U.N. Refugee Agency has won the Nobel Peace Prize twice and has power to provide immediate emergency assistance to hundreds of thousands of people.  Ban’s other pet causes include climate change and disarmament; hopes to eliminate all nuclear weapons in his lifetime. Mr. Ban was born on 13 June 1944. He and his wife, Madam Yoo (Ban) Soon-taek, whom he met in high school in 1962, have one son and two daughters. In addition to Korean, Mr. Ban speaks English and French.

Huh Chang-Soo

Huh Chang-Soo from  South Korea – age 59 is the Chairman of conglomerate GS Corp who set up the Namchon Foundation in 2006 and since then has donated shares in gs Engineering & Construction worth a total of $14 million. The foundation conducts various medical, educational and cultural activities, such as granting scholarships and creating endowments for festivals.  I heard his net worth only is $550 million – married with 2 children and he used to work for LG and very low profile – but the world should have more men like him.
